3/1/2013

If you or a loved one suffers from Keratoconus or developed Corneal Ectasia after LASIK there is some exciting and promising new research being conducted at Blacks Hills Regional Eye Institute in Rapid City, SD. Corneal Specialist, Dr. Stephen Khachikian is currently recruiting patients with Keratoconus or Corneal Ectasia to participate in a trial studying the benefits of Corneal Collagen Crosslinking. This treatment has shown promise in slowing and possibly even stopping the progression of these two debilitating corneal diseases. For more information please check out the “News and Events” section of our website. You will find detailed information here in the “News You Need” postings. If you or a loved one may be interested in participating in these research or want to know if you are a candidate for the trial please call me promptly at 701-483-9141. I look forward to helping many of our patients participate in this exciting research!
